Igjennom objektet konfronteres her
konkret adferdspsykologi, politisk mytologi, romantisk narsissisme, fatale
all tid.

The Real World

Sculpture Now, Beyond and Forever

“21:24/21:25”, Vestbanen, Oslo

Opening: Thursday 14.12 at 6pm

Open: 15.-17.12 noon-5pm

In this exhibition as in the real world we are challenged with ambiguous
authority by symbolic boundaries and leads that are not always what they
seem to be. Through the object the spectators are confronted by apparent
references to history and art-theory combined with concrete behavioural
psychology, political mythology, romantic narcissism, fatal staging, and
metaphysical punning. Once playing the role as a connection between the gods
and the real world, sculpture here moves to make visible our relationship to
our social, political and ideological reality. But first of all the object
is put into the world as a mark of existence – our own and that of reality -
now, beyond and forever.
