Open Forum presents : Bill Drummond (of KLF and penkiln-burn fame)

OBS! Som han sa, ’I’m not really a musician, that was just a coincidence…’ Først og fremst en aktivist som har et heller uanstrengt forhold til medier å jobbe innenfor kan man vel si.

Scottish artist Bill Drummond (1953) has used various media in his practice including actions, music and words. His actions too numerous to list, some more infamous than others; his music from the multi million selling KLF to the choral music of The17 ; the words have accumulated into numerous books. His work of the last ten years is documented at penkiln-burn.com

This Open Forum will be a broad sweep across his practice and how it has developed and evolved since he was an art student in the early 1970s to the present day. The diversity in his various projects calls for a forum not to be missed. Please check out his contemporary projects at his penkiln-burn site. It’s good for you.

Open Forum is a series of lectures, presentations and discussions with artists initiated by the National Academy of Fine Art in Oslo. Open Forum normally takes place every Monday at 19:00 in the auditorium at St.Olavsgt. 32, and is open for anyone interested, also outside the Academy.
