Easy & Center of the Universe are two funky souls from Oslo’s dystopic underground. They are mixing the irresistibly funky sound of Skweee with rich Eastern melodies that one would usually hear in styles like Turkish Anatolian pop, Egyptian oud music or dance latest dance sounds pounding from a Persian bazaar. Easy is a Norwegian skweee ambassedeur enriching the genre since 2007. Easy’s friend and multitalented musician Center of the Universe got into the Skweee sounds while making “Legend of Selda” for Ramp Recodings’ Skweee Tooth -compilation in 2009. So far the Norwegians have been releasing their aural art on Skweee stalwarts such as Finland’s Harmönia Records, Sweden’s Flogsta Danshall and USA’s Poisonus Gases. Pythagoras Falafel Calamity, duo’s new and awesome 5-tracker will rock the casbah so hard that even Gaddafi will drop!
