Siden 2004 har PODIUM bidrege til den dynamiske kunstscena i Oslo. Mot 2018 køyrer vi “Oslo is Burning”, ein platform for utstillingar, tale, seminar, konsertar, opplesingar med meir. Utstillingsrekka vil vere nært knytt til ein samtaleserie om presserande høver av i dag. Vi fremjar samanhengar som utfordrar deltakarar til å tenke om på førestillingane sine av samfunn, estetikk og kunst.

Vi ser Podium og platformen “Oslo is Burning” ikkje blott som ein institusjon, vi tek mål på oss av å bygge ein organisk samholdskonstruksjon med medlemar frå Podium, kunstnarar, akademikara, og andre kulturråvareprodusentar. Vi vil herde dei involverte i programmet vort til response med sitt virke på dei trekka som definerar vår samtid.

    After driving for several hours in the rocky desert, you will find a mountain of white sand. You walk the sandy path that eventually turns into dunes, and after another hour you crawl up to the top.
