Invader Ace tar med seg et knippe lys og videokunstgenier, en 4 meter høy romskipmodell, talløse gamle radioapperater fra 50/60 tallet, Dr. Kay, samt en gjeng usannsynlig bra Djs, og lager ROMSKIPTEKNOFEST på Ingensteds.
Dette blir kveldenes kveld, kvelden der man kan danse til de herlige discorytmene til Bjørn Torske og Bendik Baksaas, digge den gritty technoen til Invader Ace, beundre romskipet og radioapperatene og bli frelst av space-profeten Dr. Kay sine synthtoner og preken.

INVADER ACE are Peder Simonsen (Nor) on tuba, electronics and drum machines and Anton Toorell (Swe) on vocals, guitar, electronics and no-input mixing board. They transmit their sounds via FM senders to a wall of old tube radios, used as amplification. And it doesn’t just look fantastic; it sounds awesome. Welcome to a new world of tuba-techno-radio-pop.
Influences/comparsions include; Micachu and the Shapes, Deerhoof, Prince Rama and Battles.
New tracks have been recorded in this autumn at New York’s Strange Weather Studios under the expert touch of Daniel James Schlett (DIIV, Teen, Friends), the AMAZING John Toorell video for “Catch Up World” was chosen as the Vimeo Staff Pick and is now on to over 150,000 views and their remix of Linnea Henriksson’s track Cecilia recently went supernova!
