ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS

In the summer of 2007, Line Iren Andersen completed her Master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, by designing a sex toy set for couples.

After graduating she teamed up with friend, research assistant and business graduate, Karianne Rønning Ellekrans, to set up a firm and pursue the goal of getting Line’s designs into production and out on the market under their very own brand: Laid.

Merits: Norwegian Design Council’s Award for Design Excellence, Red Dot Award, Silver at Visuelt, Silver at the European Design Awards, the “O” Award for Outstanding Product for Women, as well as 4 further nominations for best product and packaging from the AVN.
