MODULE 1: LIVE VIDEO PERFORMANCE
Date: May 9th & May 10th, 12:00 – 18:00

- Introduction to live video performance
- Brief history and development
- Interface and workflow in Resolume Arena
- Formats, codecs and encoding
- Live feeds and live camera
- Basic content creation

MODULE 2: PROJECTION MAPPING
Date: May 23rd & May 24th, 12:00 – 18:00

- Introduction to projection mapping
- Projector hardware and why it matters
- Using multiple projectors/displays
- Midi and OSC control
- Interactivity
- Performance with music

By the end of this course you will have hands-on knowledge and experience with every step of the creative process, from idea to performance. Courses are held in english and norwegian, depending on the attendees.

Both modules: 5000kr
Student discount one module: 2500kr
Student discount both modules: 4500kr

Lunch will be served. Student discounts for software and hardware. Students need to bring a laptop capable of running Resolume Arena.

ABOUT PROJEKTOR PØBLENE:
Get ready to get down and dirty with Projektor Pøblene, a series of workshops and courses covering various topics regarding live video performance (VJ), video art and projection mapping.

Projektor Pøblene (literally translated, The Projector Hooligans) is not just a workshop, but also aims at creating a community where you can experiment, discuss and exchange ideas. As such, students gets discounts on rental, software and hardware during and after the course.

ABOUT THE TUTOR:
MFLN, or Mads as he might be called, is an audio/visual artist and performer who plays equally well with light and darkness. Having performed with artists/crews such as Metafusion Soundsystem, Gatekunst, Gatas Parlament, Artilleriet Produksjoner and CLMD as well as working with concepts/performances such as Dropout, Dunkel, Sadim and Moderne Munch, he as many years experience under his belt. Having a background in social pedagogy, also makes him a skilled tutor and he knows how to convey information so the students understand.
