When pedal steel guitarist Sveinung Lilleheier joined Toini & the Tomcats in 2001, the band Rio Bravo was in the making. It didn’t take long before Arne, Toini and Sveinung started talking about some of their favourite music – C&W and rockabilly roots. Now the Rio Bravo reportoire includes the earliest recordings of Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, some feisty Charline Arthur and Patsy Cline tunes and of course som yodeling – Patsy Montana style!

Når pedal steel-gitaristen Sveinung Lilleheier ble med Toini & the Tomcats i 2001, var Rio Bravo i startfasen. Det tok ikke lang tid før Arne, Toini og Sveinung begynte å snakke om deres favorittmusikk – C & W og rockabilly røtter. Rio Bravo sin spilleplan omfatter de tidligste innspillingene av Jimmie Rodgers og The Carter Family, noen Charline Arthur og Patsy Cline låter og selvfølgelig noe jodling – Patsy Montana stil!
