This book will look at contemporary image creation from the perspective of a photographic gallery that represents the most important tendencies in contemporary photographic art today. It will be the first book to sum up forty years of exhibition history and developments in photographic art from a Nordic perspective. At the same time it will present a new approach to photographic image-culture by drawing parallels between historical art works, exhibitions and contemporary photography.
