Culoe De Song comes back to Jæger for the third time in as many years. MC Kaman’s Nighflight plays host to the South African and Innervisions DJ with Sunkissed’s Coltsfoot warming up the basement for Culoe De Song. Following the release of his remarkable LP, Washa on his newly established De Song Music imprint and the Aftermath EP on Watergate Records, we look forward to welcoming back the South African DJ and producer to Oslo, where he’s entertained us so frequently in the past.

Culoe de Song is a South African DJ / producer whose accolades today outshine his humble beginnings and put him amongst the world’s leading selectors for House music. Finding an audience outside of South Africa through Black Coffee’s “Have Another One” Culoe de Song’s music features a similar expressive House dialect, formed within the rich cauldron of South African culture, which is often interlaced with influences from the western world. It’s music that has a universal appeal, and has found favour with labels like Innervisions and Mule Musiq. It’s as a DJ however that Culoe de Song’s efforts are most noted and features a singularity where influences, trend and traditions conspire to form lush House atmospheres.
