Arrangør av konsertene vil være Touché Monet, som er en av de ledende gruppene for stringswing og sigøyner-jazz. De har spilt over 150 konserter på jazzklubber og kulturhus over hele landet siden oppstarten i 2010. Touché Monet ga i 2015 ut sitt andre album, “Gypset”, på Hot Club Records – det største plateselskapet i verden for Django Reinhardt-inspirert musikk. De fikk flotte kritikker fra blant annet Tor Hammerø, og utgivelsen ble frontet med nyhetssak i Aftenposten.

Django Reinhardt was the first “guitar hero” in improvised music. He is still a big inspiration for musicians in all genres. Touché Monet will honour the guitar virtuoso with a 10-show long consert series at Smelteverket, which wil go on into 2019.

Touché Monet is an exiting young Gypsy Jazz band with recognition as the one of the top groups in this genre in their home country. The group released their second album, Gypset, on Hot Club Records, which the world´s largest and most influential record label in Gypsy Jazz. The groups debut album,
Touché Monet, from 2013 was highly reviewed by NRK – the national Norwegian broadcaster, with the groups originality said to be nothing less than moving.
