DIVA™ (PL) /MAC LEWANDOWSKI (THEY/THEM) (PL)

er kjent som multimediakunstner, artist, den vi alle venter på, den
fødte frontfigur, et ikon, en diva, en selvutnevnt kjendis, DJ.
Med utgangspunkt i sine egne opplevelser og minner prøver de å forstå
kjønn som noe som overskrider menneskelig forståelse. De interesserer
seg for kunst som en måte å etablere et forhold til deltakerne på
gjennom samhandling, og det rituelle, flyktige og nesten mystiske
vesenet performativ kunst har, ved å snu om på hva vi anser som hellig
og vanhellig, normativt og normbrytende. Deres kunstneriske praksis er
tett knyttet til representasjon, å ta rom tilbake, gjennom konstant kamp
i den offentlige debatten om rettighetene til de ikke-heteronormative.

ALAM NIYA (FR)

er en multidisiplinær fransk kunstner. Hun skal fremføre en ekspansiv
lyd-performance hvor hun skaper et drømmeaktig rom for transe, en
kollektiv introspeksjon. Mellom sukk, hvisk og vokale eksplosjoner
bruker hun stemmen sin som et instrument og som et utgangspunkt for
improvisering. Med denne mutanten av en stemme utforsker hun soniske
teksturer på viddene av det teknologiske og det organiske. Hun ønsker å
uttrykke de fysiske sidene av lyd ved hjelp av opptak fra verden og
lyddesign. For å bygge videre på sitt forrige verk (Tendre Ael); er Alam
Niya på søken etter en ekte og helbredende retning i livet hvor hun kan
ta avstand fra konfrontasjoner og omfavne en mørk ømhet, en radikal
nærhet.

proud to present two exciting artists who will have their first
performances in Oslo just for us!

DIVA™/MAC LEWANDOWSKI (THEY/THEM) (PL)

A person known as a multimedia artist, performer, the one everyone is
waiting for, born headliner, an icon, a diva, celebrity by choice, DJ.
Base don their own experience and memory, they try to understand gender
as something that goes beyond human cognition. They is interested in art
as a way of establishing relationships with the participant through
joint action, the ritual, ephemeral and almost mythical nature of the
performative act by switching the roles of what is considered to be
sacred and profane, normative and non-normative. Their artistic practice
is closely related to representation, regaining a place, through
constant fight in public discourse on the rights of non-heteronormative.

ALAM NIYA (FR)

is a multidisciplinary french artist. Here she presents an immersive
sound performance to create a dreamlike space of trance, a collective
introspection. Between sighs, whispers and vocal explosion, she uses her
voice as an instrument and a support for improvisation. This mutant
voice explore its way through sonic textures at the edge of
technological and organic. She wants to express the physicality of
sound, with a practice of field recording and sound design. In the
continuity of her previous project (Tendre Ael); Alam Niya is looking
for a raw healing path, she turn away from confrontation to embrace a
dark sweetness, a radical intimacy.
No track has been released under this name yet. The first publications
will be the testimony of a precise moment and space based on the
recording of her live performances.
