Ms. Plair tours advancing the cause of music and storytelling as a

means of building bridges and tolerance; planting peace seeds. She

has founded and organized two Storytelling Field Conference in Africa:

Ghana 1999, and Cape Town, South Africa in 2002. Ms. Plair is the

first storyteller to be invited by 7 African countries to speak about

the power of the arts, to educate and disseminate information about

HIV and AIDS and other social issues.
