*Soria Moria Studentscene åpner dørene torsdag 27. Januar 2011 i Soria Moria-slottet.

Med en av Oslos aller største konsertscener er vi klare for å gi alle studenter et heftig torsdagseventyr. Vi har plass til 2000 personer og sparer ikke på kruttet på åpningen.

Vi starter med å invitere til en gigantisk karnevalsfest. Med inspirasjon fra gatekarnevalet i Oslo på 1980-tallet og latinamerikansk karnevalskultur varmer vi opp vinternatten i Oslo.

Plateselskapet Grandma’s Funkyard setter det 83 år gamle slottet i bevegelse med brasilianske sambarytmer. Det vil også være en touch av house, soul, reggae og funk. I tillegg vil flotte dansere opptre fra scenen.

En jury vil gi ut prisen for kveldens beste kostyme. Bruk din fantasi og vinn flotte premier.*

Grandma’s Funkyard is a professional music production & publishing house
that consists of artists, producers, engineers, designers and managers.

Artistslipp fra hovedscenen :

// Grandma & GrandPA – Are two producer DJs from Grandma´s Funkyard with a
solid taste for different music genres. A taste of funk, sometimes house,
always danceable, this duo has teamed up for a warm night of brazilian
rhytm.

// Trio Brasil – rythm is a dancer, and these three guys have played their way
from Brazil to Oslo where they joined forces and are now giving us
the sound of brasilian bossa nova with a touch of funk, soul, samba and
reggea.

// Carina Istre is a soul and funk mistress. Her two favorite places are the
beaches of brazil and the studio. Like always, she brings the vocals.

// Rogerio Nunes himself is coming with, to bang the percussion to the beat of
his brazilian blood.
