‘Whatever Happened to Sex in Scandinavia’ book launch and film screening

On 14 December OCA welcomes everyone to a presentation of ‘Whatever Happened to Sex in Scandinavia?’, the publication following the project with the same name held at OCA in 2008/09. The anthology reflects upon the juncture of the political and erotic in the 1960s and 70s in relation to the image of Scandinavia as a sexually and politically utopic territory during those decades.
The launch is followed by a screening of Stan Brakhageʼs ‘Dog Star Man: Prelude’ (1961), accompanied by a performance by Norwegian experimental musician Lasse Marhaug.
