Concentration is the essence of meditation, and determines both the power and the peacefulness of our mind. Without concentration it is easy to feel fragmented and distracted and it becomes difficult to fulfill our wishes and ambitions. Mindfulness is an important tool in developing concentration and inner peace and helps us to be more aware moment by moment of what is going on in our mind. This awareness creates an inner space that we can maximize to reduce stress, solve problems and be peaceful in the present moment.

This free talk will give a practical introduction to these two trainings and into how we can train and improve them – both in daily life and in retreat.

Everyone is welcome to this free talk which is also a perfect introduction to the courses which begin in March and to the concentration Easter retreat. It is a great way to try out a class first and to ask any Qs you have before enrolling. There will be an opportunity to book courses after the talk and to browse in the bookshop for meditation books and CDs.
