13:00 The Power of Mantra, Nordisk Kadampa Meditasjonssenter
“Mantra” is a sanskrit word meaning “mind-protection”, it is the supreme method to accomplish spiritual realisations, pacify negative thoughts and receive blessings or inspiration from enlightened beings. The afternoon will include a combination of teachings, guided meditations and a short session of chanting the mantra of the Buddha of Compassion. We will learn how to combine mantra recitation with breathing meditation and also how to use mantras in the context of our daily lives.
