Kazachenko’s apartment is a new artist initiative situated in the centre of Oslo. It was founded by Nicholas Riis, Nora Turato and Maarten Sleeuwits in November 2013. Kazachenko organises (group)-expositions and art manifestations focused on process and interdisciplinary cooperation. Kazachenko will have the pleasure of presenting work of artists every three weeks.
Never store a tent wet, the holes I can see your pride through. I laugh at you because you’re all the same, unfamiliar faces. Limping through the dry red sand running out of sync. The death stare of a silver chase, the bird with no feathers.

Anja Carr’s performative installations encompass sculptures, live- or video-performance. The live-performances in these colorful, homelike scenographies are also presented as an ongoing photography series. Through her non-verbal performances Carr explores a physical dream language and involves musicians, bodybuilders or furries – people in fur-suits worshiping their animal-personality. Her childhood desires and figures like My Little Pony, Miss Piggy or Ninja Turtles are transformed in an adult world of dreams, lusts and nightmares, through bodily communication.
On Friday the 14th of February, Kazachenko’s apartment will show ‘Dark Clouds, Clear Vision,’ an exhibition by Tommy Høvik.
