Galleri Gravsted kindly invite you to experience an exciting crossover between artistic creation and science. Enjoy poetic beauty of graveyard dwellers captured by an excellent illustrator and their life explained by a biologist.
For most humans, a graveyard is a place to bury the dead. In urban environments however, a graveyard serves as a green oasis of life within a world of asphalt and skyskrapers. It holds a great range of habitats for birds, insects and plants which has been the inspiration for this exhibition.
We hope your next visit at a cemetery will be enriched by the experience we prepared for you. Enjoy!
Xueting Yang- Master of illustration, currently drawing for Morgenbladet, Bokvennen, working on her own comic and as a season worker at Nordre gravlund .
Maria Tesaker- Master of science, specialist in biology, bird enthusiast and graveyard worker at Nordre gravlund.

The gallery is open until midnight.
It is also possible to see the exhibiton Saturday 28.6 and Sunday 29.6 between 12:00-18:00.
