Welcome to Living Poetry Picnic at Hovedøya with Butoh-laboratorium in Oslo.
We are so glad to invite you to a very special summer event which will take place at Hovedøya in Oslo.
On the 28th of June, we arrange living poetry picnic with butoh and other dance performances, and also a little guided tour.

Bring some foods we all can share together,
while witnessing butoh dance performances and performance art in relation to the nature around the island. Several performances will be showed.
Amongs others a solo dance by the great butoh dancer Mushimaru Fujieda (JP), group performances by Summer Living Poetry Project, duet performance by Eye of Tree, solo performance by IRO, live music by Masaki Kai, Jon Eeg-Henriksen, Seshen Arts and more.
This will be the evening of light, joy, gratitude, dance and connection. Perfect for you who wants a retreat from city life, but only 8 minutes away from the centrum.

On the program:
17.00: Meeting at Aker brygge, boat leaves at 17.15.
17.20: Arrival Hovedøya, a gudied tour around the Island.
18.00: Group performance Summer Living Poetry Project.
18.30: Picnic break with food and drinks.
19.15: Performance by Mushimaru Fujieda.
19.40. IRO performance.
20.00. Swimming. Social talks. Pause.
20.20. Eye of Tree performance.
20.40. End of performances. Social picnic continues.
