Underskog

Trees, rocks, water, birds, wind … Take a walk in the woods through sound, space, visual and movement. “Prosjekt Skog” is an performance project consisting of only female artists in different artistic disciplines. The creative process has unfolded in co-creative way so that each artist’s voice are valued and will be the source of creation.

The project is inspired by the ancient meaning of ART, where music, dance, poetry, story-telling and visual esisted inseparably as one for returning into the harmony with the nature within and without us.
All six musicians are current or former students at the Academy and active in different genres. As they gathered, not only they did reherasals but also did different exchanges through story- sharing, dancing, eating, caring each other, in listening deeply what women can create together. Music is partly composed and partly improvised.

We are inviting you to be part of this creation, with your breath, presence and witness. Welcome to the forest, where all hearts exist and connect as one.
