the story: A few weeks ago, we have discovered by chance that our lovely neighbor hospital will expand its activities by building all around our spot. Without questioning the obvious need for a bigger hospital, we are merely asking to be part of the discussion and keep our doors open longer. We believe that Oslo needs small art organisations in order to keep the city vibrant and alive.
since moving in our new premises in october 2015: we have been very active as a meeting point between experimental, time-based, collaborative and collective art practices in relation to public space and landscape.
No need to say that we have spent a lot of energy and ressources in making that space welcoming for all.
if the commune’s plans succeed: we are out by the 31st of December.
in other terms: no Winter Solstice and cancellation of the fall’s program.
