Gerd Janson comes to Jæger on the Frædag ticket, where Olanskii & g-Ha continue to bring the cream of of the DJ crop to Oslo. Gerd Janson’s influence runs deep in dance music where his label Running Back has cerated or at least inspired a fair few careers and his DJ appearances, which include the Tuff City Kids alias he shares with Lauer, have astounded and mesmerised audiences around the world. His arrival at Jæger comes at a time after we’ve made the move back indoors, as the cold moves in and the call of the warm embrace from our cabin-basement (replete with two new 21” subwoofers) is just too good and tantalising to ignore. It’s the perfect setting to host this acclaimed DJ, whose status as an underground electronic music icon is unmatched and whose prowess in the booth is the stuff of legends. Club residencies at Trouw, Robert Johnson Live and Panorama bar have cemented his legend while his recent Fabric mix proves yet again his talent is unparalleled in the booth.
