Frædag invites Konstantin Sibold! Bakgårdn åpner

Konstantin Sibold (Running Back, Innervisions, Stuttgart, DE) | G-Ha & Olanskii – Jaeger/Sunkissed/Oslo | R.L.O.C

This Frædag Konstantin Sibold, the prodigious Running Back and Innervisions producer / DJ, shares the basement with residents G-Ha & Olanskii. Sibold’s 2016 EP Mutter brought one of Germany’s best kept secret talents to the wider world, and his productions are only some measure of his DJ talents. A sought after DJ whose fans include Helena Hauff, Sibold finally lands at Jæger on the Frædag ticket. Ricky Late, Oskar Pask, Olefonken and Celius complete the line-up upstairs in our courtyard braving the cold spring with a varied selection of House, Balearic and Acid.

“Every musician aspires to communicate with audiences in their own unique
language. Konstantin Sibold’s cultured approach to performance and production has forged a style that is both distinctive and personal. The youngest resident of legendary Stuttgart club, Rocker 33, Konstantin Sibold has been a precocious talent in the booth. Establishing the Common Sense People event series early on during his residency with Leif Müller, names like DJ Koze, Roman Flügel and Levon Vincent have earned their parties a justifiable reputation across the German underground.

Appearances from Panorama bar to Rex Club to Trouw have only cemented his status as an innovative DJ, able to imbue any night with a pulsating energy. As a producer, Konstantin’s burgeoning reputation led to him being voted ‘Newcomer of the Year 2013’ by the readers of Groove Magazine, ahead of other lauded acts from Recondite to Disclosure. In 2010 his debut vinyl “Neuland” was released on Salon Rosi Rec., receiving significant support from the Kompakt family. Additional releases followed on Caramelo and Snork Enterprises, before “Madeleine” attracted the attention of Dixon and me. Its eventual release on Innervisions ultimately propelled Konstantin onto the world stage. In the studio, just as in the DJ booth, Konstantin lives and breathes the idea that music is fluid and that setting constraints based on convention and expectation will only suffocate musical personality.
