Journey to Truth and Happiness

What does it mean to be a Buddhist in the 21st Century? Is the Buddhist way of life an effective response to the problems that confront us both individually and globally? And precisely, what is the Buddhist spiritual path? Gen-la Kelsang Khyrenrab will explore these questions through presenting the three key aspects of the Buddhist spiritual path, known as the Three Higher Trainings.

In this age of busyness and distraction we need to find a path leading to lasting peace. Practicing the Three Higher Trainings – moral discipline, meditation, and wisdom – we can realise the truth of emptiness and attain the happiness of liberation.

This course will explore how we can transform our life into a journey of discovery, learning to integrate these three trainings into our own lives, so that we too are deeply inspired to follow in the footsteps of Buddha. In this way, day by day, our lives become a journey towards a lasting happiness and even enlightenment. Because this path is founded on a practical and profound understanding of the mind it remains startlingly relevant and gives us clear solutions to the problems of our modern lives.

In this one day course we will receive concise teachings on the path to inner liberation directly from the internationally renowned meditator, scholar and teacher, Gen-la Kelsang Khyenrab.

This course is designed to show us how to apply meditation and Buddhist wisdom in the midst of a busy modern lifestyle.

Everyone is welcome; no previous meditation experience is necessary.
