Having his music signed to such diverse labels as techno mainstay M_nus Records, Canadian down-tempo imprint Interchill, and French progressive label BUS (amongst others), it’s clear to see that Berlin-based producer Oblique Industries is not one to be restricted by the boundaries of genre. Drawing influence from techno, house, minimal, electro, progressive and experimental sounds, Oblique Industries has crafted a sound as much to tantalize the mind as the body, exploring the contrasts between light and dark, loud and soft, minimal and maximal… whilst delving deep into the spaces in between.

Aside from his own productions, Oblique Industries is quickly becoming a sought after remix artist after being hand-selected by Richie Hawtin as the winner of the Plastikman ‘Ask Yourself’ Remix Competition out of over 1300 entries from around the world, earning him a place on Plastikman’s ‘Arkives’ on seminal techno label M_nus Records. Oblique Industries’ music is also available through Interchill Records, BUS records, and Finland’s Planetaria Recordings and Australia’s own Subsonic Music, with more tracks slated for release soon on Chameleon Recordings, Smash Bang and Open Records.

Oblique Industries has gained a reputation as one of Australia’s premier exports, attracting the attention of some of the world’s biggest names in dance music, including the likes of Richie Hawtin and Creamfields Festival, while bringing his electric live show to the international stages of Europe and Asia (including performances throughout France, Germany, Poland, Croatia, UK, Lebanon, China and Japan). it’s obvious that Oblique Industries has no plans of slowing down anytime soon
