Ali & Lili: Status & Character – a Great Guest Series workshop!
A workshop that will give you tools and tranining to spontaneously create believable and entertaining characters in various scenes.
We will explore techniques of status, power dynamics, physical perception, outrageous attitudes and more!
We will mine the the comedic potential of authentic human behaviour, enabling you to expand your character range and create compelling stories in any improvisational style!

Ali Froggatt is proud to be the founding Artistic Director of Tightrope Impro Theatre as well as a faculty member in the Department of Theatre at Capilano University in Vancouver.
As an Alumni of the Loose Moose Theatre Company, founded by Keith Johnstone, Ali has been fortunate to perform and teach on numerous stages across Canada, Norway, Holland, Germany, Czech Republic and the United Arab Emirates. Ali’s favourite theatre credits are with Rebecca Northan’s Spontaneous Theatre on various productions, most notably in the role of Mimi in Blind Date at The Arts Club, The Canada Hub at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and The Globe Theatre.
Lili Beaudoin is based out of Vancouver Canada, Lili is an actor, Improvisor, filmmaker and voice artist.
Lili has performed in productions at many of the leading Canadian Theatre Companies including; Caravan Farm Theatre, Theatre Calgary, ATP, & Bard on the Beach. Elsewhere Lili’s voice can be heard in several animated shows such as Beat Bugs, Littlest Pet Shop, Rainbow Ruby, Max Steel and My Little Pony. Lili is the honoured recipient of the Anthony Holland Scholarship for Outstanding Ability and Dedication as well as a Betty Mitchell award for Outstanding Performance by a lead Actress in a Drama.
