Dear Villa friends! Thankyou to all who came to the last Villa in Exile party! It was a great night & we had 200 people sign up! Our beloved Villa is under renovation and we are very excited to see the final result from February 22nd- then we will open every Friday & Saturday night! Until then we have a Fabulous event planned for you in January with special international live guest from Lisbon – BODYCODE! Electric Lane will be celebrating her birthday as will Villa owner Emil- so it’s gonna be crazy…
Robin will also be flying back over from Barcelona to play.

………….BODYCODE…….. is the dancefloor oriented alias of
African-raised & Lisbon-based Alan Abrahams. His albums as Portable
for labels Background & Scape received international acclaim for their
instantly recognisable unique blend of African rhythms & micro house.
In 2006 he released his fantastic Bodycode album (“The Conservation of
Electric Charge”) for highly influential detroit imprint Ghostly
International & its Spectral sub label. He is one half of duo behind
label Sud Electronic (www.sudelectronic.com)- renowned in London for
their warehouse parties. His hypnotic live gigs are now legendary,
blending Chicago house, techno & tribal rhythms- he has torn up
dancefloors at Sonar alongside Audion & Richie Hawtin to 20,000
people; The Detroit Electronic Music Festival; Fabric- alongside Carl
Craig & Rob Hood, & Berghain alongside Jeff Mills: he is on fire, he
is super special & he is gonna witchdoctor us with a 90 minute African
techno live set! By the way the vocals on his album and this podcast
are his!!
