Dj Gymbag aka Bjorn Inge Larsen, has since the beginning of the nineties, been one of the leading figures of the Norwegian club scene. Since 1993 he’s been involved in many successful parties and club nights under the moniker Logic Productions. Started playing records in 1994, and has since then had many regular nights in various places. From 1996 hes been responsible, both as a Dj and as an organizer, for weekly/monthly concepts. The most recent being Larsen Auto, Plastic Fantastic, Its Electric and This is How at venues like Cafe Opera, Miles Ahead and Agora. In 2005 he moved to Oslo, and here he plays regularly at venues like Parkteatret, Nomaden, Fru Hagen, Dattera til Hagen and Soria Moria. Musically, its very hard, if not impossible to label Dj Gymbag. Plays mainly electronic music, but he also plays Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Disco, Jazz, Rare Grooves, Broken Beats, House, New Wave, Rock etc. He usually combines all of these stiles in his sets, but occasionally he sticks to just one of them. His big musical diversity is probably an important reason to his success as a Dj.
