Bjørvika International Chamber Choir

The Bjørvika International Chamber Choir (BICC) in residence at Den Norske Opera & Ballet was founded in the spring of 2008.
It is comprised of 18 professional singers from nine different countries: Denmark, England, the Faroe Islands, Germany, Norway, Romania, Scotland, Sweden and the United States.
Their first concerts will be held at the Trefoldighets Kirke at 8PM on Saturday, May 31st and at the Kongsberg Kirke at 7PM on Sunday, June 1st, under the direction of Steffen Kammler, the chorus master at Den Norske Opera.
The repertoire for these concerts will be Bach’s Jesu, meine Freude, the Marienlieder of Brahms and six songs by Felix Mendelssohn
