Diane Cluck kommer til Oslo og Bergen, Spasibar og Landmark. Vi tar det ute i hagen hvis det blir finvær.

Fra allmusic:
Diane Cluck is a singer-songwriter loosely affiliated with the Anti-folk scene centered around open mic nights at the Sidewalk Cafe in Manhattan’s East Village in NYC. She moved to Atlanta, Georgia in January 2007.

She has recorded six albums since 2000. Cluck has been known to use Seagull acoustic guitars, pianos, organs, harmoniums, xylophones, capos on the 1st fret, and zithers in her performances. She has been influenced by Great Danes, Erik Satie and her home state of Pennsylvania. Her music uses discordant effects and demonstrates a confident grasp of dynamics.

Her song Monte Carlo appeared on the Rough Trade compilation Anti Folk Volume 1 in 2001 alongside other luminaries of the scene. She has collaborated with Jeffrey Lewis and Herman Düne in the past.

Diane’s latest release, Monarcana came out on July 10th 2006 on the Very Friendly label. She toured the US in July 2006 and the UK from July to August 2006. She also toured Europe and the USA in 2007.
