In 2004 Gunnar Wærness was honoured as one of Norway’s greatest young authors at the Norwegian Festival of Literature. At ISFiT 2009 you have the chance to experience him in a poetic-melodic performance, combining the worlds of poetry and music. By using words and special instruments called lamellophones, he will touch upon topics like understanding, meetings with what we cannot comprehend and cultural differences. Could these topics be underlying reasons for conflicts?
