GOLDFISH IS MEANT FOR DYING av Rudi Skotheim

Performance lecture about the tremendous importance of goldfish!

An autistic character invites you to a seemingly academic lecture about goldfish, desperately needing to convince the audience about their tremendous importance. We gradually tumble into a bizarre and fantastical version of reality as the character merges with his subject matter, and the stage is submerged in an ambient underwater atmosphere, allowing us to experience the world from an unusual perspective. In this performance lecture, we reflect on the principles of empathy, and the effects of global media society on our vulnerable private lives. This is no sugary tear jerker, but a heartfelt call to wake up and smell the goldfish!
