Bettina is one of very few professional female flamenco guitarists in the world. What makes her even more of a rarity is that she is norwegian – in fact the first ever norwegian flamenco artist to work extensively in Spain. There she has worked the spanish flamenco circuit, playing tablaos like the prestigious Casa Patas, as well as the best theatres in Spain, like the Albéniz of Madrid or the Teatro Central in Sevilla. She has played in the most important flamenco festivals in Madrid, the Suma Flamenca and Flamenco Pa Tós. In 2008 one of Bettinas guitar compositions was featured on the album Sangre Nueva, compilation album of up-and-coming female flamenco artists produced by Paco Ortega and released by Universal.

Bettina can offer a unique concert experience with either traditional flamenco, her own songs, or a mix of both. She performs solo as well as in a number of constellations, ranging from traditional flamenco with flamenco singing and dance to her own group with flute, cello, violin and percussion. She is an exotic and exciting choice for any cultural event.
