Slideluck Potshow is a New York City-based non-profit arts organization that provides an opportunity for artists and arts-appreciators to gather around food, friends, and artwork for an unforgettable night. This event, which began in a Seattle backyard eight years ago and regularly draws crowds of a thousand people in NYC, is coming to Norway!

The evening begins with a couple hours of mingling and dining on the home-cooked delights of those who attend, and then the lights are dimmed, the crowd is hushed, and a spectacular slideshow commences. Please join us on Thursday, June 3, at Tjuvholem for an engaging, unique, and fun evening.

Submit your artwork for SLPS Oslo! We are currently seeking cohesive, creative, and thought-provoking submissions for the slideshow! Photojournalists, painters, fashion and fine-art photographers all present work alongside one another in a relaxed and spirited atmosphere. Submissions will be collected online in advance of the slideshow. Multimedia presentations are also welcomed and all shows must be accompanied by music, commentary, or other audio surprises. The Oslo event will feature Norwegian photographers and artists along with a handful of international artists. Presenters range from the very accomplished to the up and coming, and everyone has a maximum of 5 minutes. Past contributors to Slideluck Potshows include: The Guggenheim Foundation, Chuck Close, Elliott Erwitt, Gregory Crewdson, Jonas Bendiksen, Todd Hido, Elinor Carucci, Alec Soth, Spencer Tunick, Shepard Fairey, Martin Parr, Alessandra Sanguinetti, Lauren Greenfield, Vincent Laforet and many others.

So get those submissions in, then whip up your famous banana bread, spaghetti bolognese, green papaya salad, rosemary ham, or raspberry cheesecake and come check out a slammin’ slideshow!
