mandag 14. mars 2011 kl. 17:00 på Universitetet i Oslo, Georg Sverdrups hus (UB), Auditorium 2
Foredrag ved Tristram Stuart, forfatter av blant annet Waste: Uncovering the Global Food Scandal (2009) og The Bloodless Revolution (2006)
Modern Western countries waste up to half of their food supplies from farm to fork. Farmers dispose of crops, fishing vessels throw edible fish overboard, supermarkets send tonnes of food to landfill every year, and consumers tip up to a quarter of their food into the bin. This tragedy is also a great opportunity, since by doing something so simple as eating and enjoying food we can relieve pressure on the environment and global food supplies.
