Miss Millie’s is back to give you this month’s dose of stompin’ 60’s- and Northern Soul, gritty RnB, Latin Boogaloo and more from the 1960’s.

Resident DJ’s Kristine, Simen and Soggy will be joined behind the decks by the one and only Mr. Phil Saxe from Manchester, UK.

Phil Saxe DJ’d at the legendary Twisted Wheel nightclub in Manchester during Soul musics early evolution in the UK.

Phil cut his teeth turning out ‘Northern’ stompers and the latest Soul releases at “The Wheel” and later managed infamous ‘Madchester’ band The Happy Mondays and worked as A&R at Factory Records. He now works as a Lecturer of Music Studies at LIPA.

Phil runs his own highly successful night in Manchester called ‘No Way Out!’.
