Yin Yang workshop: learning the art of balancing our practices of asanas with Cecile Roubaud (Yin yoga teacher certified)

Cecile Roubaud is offering an amazing workshop, balancing the powerful Yang Ashtanga practice with Yin Yoga. Connective tissues (tendons, ligaments, joints, etc.) are Yin tissues and must be worked in a Yin way as not to be injured, and to allow to it become stronger and more flexible.

On a physical level Yin Yoga is amazing for our joints, and can make us more flexible in areas that Yang Yoga can’t do. On an energetic level, it relieves blockages of energy within the meridians, especially the lower meridians located in our legs. On the mind level it is a very meditative practice, bringing stillness in the fluctuation of our mind.

During a 3h workshop Saturday 23rd of April, Cecile will be sharing her wonderful practice. We will learn to move on the rhythm of the breath through a very powerful «Yang» sequence inspired by the Yin Yoga theory. It will open your mind to a completely different way of practicing Yang Vinyasa yoga. The class is open to all levels, but be ready for the powerful Dragon Dance!
The workshop will end with a restorative gentle Yin Yoga to settle down the energy released into the Dragon Dance.
