VIB står for verksted for improvisert bevegelse, og skal fungere som et uformelt sted hvor kunstnere kan møtes for å improvisere sammen, finne nye veier for kreativitet, bygge relasjoner og utvikle idéer; på tvers av kunstformene. Et slikt møtested ønsker å styrke og knytte sammen det kunstneriske miljøet i Trondheim, gi en arena for å vedlikeholde og utforske de ulike kunstneriske uttrykk, og skape interesse for bevegelse og improvisasjon. VIB drives av dansekunstnerne Luis Della Mea, Mari Flønes og Ingeborg Dugstad Sanders.

Workshopen vil ta for seg grunnleggende prinsipper i bevegelsesimprovisasjon, og vil fokusere på utfoldelse, bevissthet, lek og lytting.

Workshopen er et samarbeid med PRODA. Pris for deltakere utenom PRODA ordningen kr 100,- pr dag.

“The Articulate Body” – Praktisk workshop med Hannah Fox

DansiT, Strandveien 33, Svartlamon

This workshop invites participants to awaken the body from head to toes and make deliberate and artful movement on stage. We will play with making spontaneous and creative choices, playing with the intersection between text and movement. We will tune our “instruments,” our bodies, and move as an ensemble as well as solo artists. Pulling from Anne Bogart’s Viewpoints, Contact Improvisation, Motion Theater, and yoga to expand our capacity to extract beauty, poignancy, and the embodied story, we will aim to awaken the articulate body. Wear clothes you can move in and be prepared to sweat!

Embodied Story
In this talk, Hannah Fox will discuss the intersection between text and movement, focusing on the topic of embodying our life stories in the autobiographical solo performance form.

Experience and expression in the production of dance by Gunn Engelsrud

In this talk, Gunn Engelsrud will discuss how the emotional and “inner” landscapes of embodied experience are shaped in exchange with the “outer” expressions. Examples are from some young dancers’ productions of dance performances.
