Tonight: Lerkekvartetten





Lerkekvartetten is a string quartet (Jonas Østervold, Elfi Maria Øhre Marcussen, Amanda Håøy Horn and Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad) at the age of 16-19 years old. They met each other at a chamber music seminar in Oslo 6 years ago and have played together since then guided by Cellist Kari Ravnan from the Oslo Filharmonic Orchestra.

The quartet has attended many chamber music courses and concerts in Norway, England, USA and they have had several coachers such as:
Igor Rybak, Soon Mi Chung, Leif- Arne Jørgensen, Berit Værnes Chardas and Eileen Siegel.

The quartet’s proffesionality has been proved by wining some important prizes:
first price in U.S.A;
first prize in Sparre Olsen konkurransen;
first prize in The Youth music competition in 2010.
