Despite our patterns
which are more regular than anything I share
with another person
she still feels unpredictable to me.
Despite our closeness
I am occasionally thrilled
and even a bit scared
by the foreignness of her.
Iselin Linstad Hauge primarily works with video and photography. Through a poetic approach she sheds a light upon human existential themes, particularly our resistance to recognize our own mortality. Linstad Hauge gives form to the unknowable, or untouchable through an intense and maximized presence with the subject in front of her camera.
