FRANZ UNDERWEAR (slowmotion, IT)
Franz’s musical career started in his teens, where he travelled much of Italy playing concerts with his noise/rock band. At the same time he began collecting records encompassing a wide variety of genres. Here was his opportunity amalgamate and switch between severaldiffering styles.
His Dj and promotions career began in 2005, he moved from Italy to Berlin in 2007. Since then he’s been all over town enforcing his DJ talents and has managed to play all main underground clubs as well as well known hip locations around the city and built up a strong network of music lover and players of the music segment., Not to mention run successful nights in some of Berlin’s most popular venues. He runs the Slow Motion parties and label between Italy and Berlin. Slow Motion stands for good quality electro and obscure italo disco sound mixed with all swinging kind of music styles. His dj set is a mix of electro, old school disco, obscure italo disco, detroit, chicago, disco house, acid, new-wave, 80’s.
VINNY VILLBASS (afroart/imsingle)
Vinny Villbass has operated as a musical peace envoi and norwegian club dj for 10 years, mainly with focus on percussive and disco oriented house music. In addition to having a master degree in acoustics, Håkon “Villbass” Vinnogg has been recomending music on Norwegian national radio, been the third wheel of the legendary Sunkissed nights in Oslo, and constantly oiling the Diskjokke&VinnyVillbass machinary.
The last year, productions in collaboration with Diskjokke has led to great reviews abroad and vinyl release on Kindisch, remix release on Rebirth Italy and gigs in New York, Istanbul, Big Chill Festival, in addition to several gigs along the fjords of Scandinavia.
The Norwegian polar disco is also expressed through DiskjokkeBand, where Vinny Villbass playes guitar. He now lives in Berlin, where he has regular parties at AreneClub, Kleine Reise ++, constructing his wierd analog house in his NeuKölln studio, or just stroling around with his x-small I’m Single Records t-shirt.
Villbass remixes of Cascao & LadyMaru, Mudman and Of Norway has recently been released.
