To the would be farther and the would be brother
Two women stand together on a rock in the middle of nothingness. Together they
navigate through the very nature of their existence including the inevitability of
death. The final song is just an attempt to sing. A friendly voice from behind the curtain
offers her last psychoanalysis. The weight of the rock flattens a body, still breathing.
Together they wait.

I AM NOT DECIDING is a work in progress showing of BOOKHOUSE BOYS new project. They
are exploring breakdown of connections, looking into their generations and their grandparents
relationships with time and communication. BOOKHOUSE BOYS are concerned with the idea of a
mind being so full that it can seem as though it’s empty.

BOOKHOUSE BOYS is a two woman devised theatre company established by Maritea Dæhlin and Jo
Hellier in the final year of their Devised Theatre Degree Course at Dartington College of Arts (2010).

This is the first time we present our work in Norway, so we are very excited and looking forward to hearing your feedback in the Q&A proceeding the performance. I AM NOT DECIDING is a piece still in its initial stage, which is constantly changing based on the feedback we receive from our audiences.
