IMAGINE: A three-day workshop using theatre and creativity with Colombian actor, activist and therapist Hector Aristizabal. An amazing and rare opportunity in Bergen to experience Theatre of the Oppressed and related techniques!
Hector Aristizabal believes that creativity is everyone’s birthright and that tapping into the wisdom we carry can lead us to transformative action. In traditional societies, ritual weaves the wounded individual back into the group. In Hector’s workshops, we use theatre to create rituals that allow individuals to recreate themselves while bringing healing to the community. His work has been influenced by Theatre of the Oppressed, psychodrama, traditional storytelling, mask-making, drumming, improvisational drama and creative ritual.
Workshop is primarily in English and is sponsored by Impulssenteret and SEIF (Selvhjelp for innvandrere og flyktninger).
