They might be without a doubt the best psychedelic 60’s Retro Garage band in the world!!!
Formed in 2004 in the cold streets of Dublin, they have been building a big a following everywhere they play in the world, sharing stages with Billy Childish, The Pretty Things, Buzzcocks, Babyshambles, The Chesterfield Kings among others.

Their amazing debut LP PSYCH WARD has been getting amazing feedback reviews and its a favourite among Little Stevens Underground Garage Radio Show!!

The Urges sound can be traced as far back as the mid 60s where primal fuzztone and psychedelic organ kicked of real rock n roll – all the way up to the present day where indie garage rock could not be a more domineering musical force. When it comes to live shows The Urges dont resort to filling a set with plagiarized riffs & shoe gazing, their performances are both primal & chaotic emanating a threat of violence which makes the men stand back & makes the girls step forward! The Urges effortlessly drift in and out of different timings & melodies but constantly maintain an authentic yet primitive sound which always leaves the crowd crying for more.

After an amazing show at GutterBall Festival in 2009, they are back in Oslo to shake Revolver’s basement!!!

Opening the night we have the fantastic Mysticates from Oslo!!

The Mysticates started as a garagerock coverband in 2009 and did some gigs at Funhouse before they broke up. After a six month break the band came back with a different line-up. The Mysticates anno 2012 are: Hallvard Mildestveit (guitar, vocals), Frode Skjold (drums, vocals), Bjarte Thorson (guitar, organ) and Kristian Høgheim. These guys have earlier played in bands like The Heretics (from Bergen) and The Indikation.
With many new original material this guys are the perfect beginning of the night!!
