There is a lot to say about house DJ Luke Solomon but to make a very long story very short: Luke will drop his grooves for us at Jæger the 31st of March.

OK, we’re not getting away with such a short story I guess. So for those that want to know or those that want the facts one more time confirmed lets talk about the man and his career briefly then.

Luke is a DJ/producer as well a label boss. A gig with Derrick Carter led the two to become friends, after which Classic Recordings was born. The label introduced the world to the likes of DJ Sneak, Tiefschwarz, Isolee and Freeform 5, just to name a few.

Together with Justin Harris he runs the “Music for freaks” label. Under the Freaks moniker, Luke & Justin have turned out a slew of singles and long players on their own Music For Freaks imprint to include the albums, The Beat Diaries, Meanwhile Back At The Disco and The Man Who Lived Underground. These albums spawned some of Freaks seminal singles such as Turning Orange, Where Were You When The Lights Went Out and of course their huge underground hit, The Creeps. They have also found themselves remixing the likes of Alison Limerick, Pulp, Damon Alban, Kasabian, The Streets & Duran Duran!

As a solo artist he has had releases on a variety of labels to include the very respected Crosstown Rebels, Gallery, Icon and Cajual. His 1st artist album “The Difference Engine” was released in 2008 on the much-applauded Rekids label.

Some more name-dropping? OK then. The man has worked with amongst others: Radioslave, Henrik Shwarz, Damian Lazarus and Norway’s own Prins Thomas, just to name a few more.

Serving the soup this evening is nobody less then LIFE party promoter and DJ Werner.

Werner Hilberink has been strolling around the Norwegian club scene for 12 years by now and most will know him from the LIFE parties, the 17th of Mai boat party and lately the Big Fish parties. With bookings of Uner, Mladen Solomun, Pleasurekraft, now Luke Solomon and in the nearby future X-Press 2 the man has proven that he knows his fair share of quality music.
