Husbands and Wives is a 1992 American drama film directed and written by Woody Allen. One of his most seemingly biographical films, Husbands and Wives opens with upper-middle class Manhattan couple announcing to their best friends, that they are splitting up. After that, couples friends, a professor and his wife discover the faults in their marriage as well.

Husbands and Wives was seemingly influenced by Ingmar Bergman’s Scenes From a Marriage.
