Toby Barnes: "The Beautiful Seams between the network and the real-world"

IxDA Oslo & AHO Interaksjonsdesign is delighted to welcome Toby Barnes to our 17th of may vorspiel session!
Toby has spoken at a large number of events such as Playful, SXSW, GDC, and Interesting, and he is an advisor to the Greater London Authority, and the Mayor of London on a range of digital issues. On Wednesday 16th of may, he will be sharing his insight with IxDA Oslo @ NITH, and it’s all for free!
Toby will talk about “The Beautiful Seams between the network and the realworld” looking at Chromaroma, A real world social game in London that uses the Oyster Card as a key to unlocking the game. and finishing with the importance of Service Design and the need to look at the seems between the digital and physical world.
Toby is Strategic Product Director at AKQA, London where he leads the conception and creation of branded content and services. Most recently he was one of the principals at the Mudlark Production Company, and Executive Producer on Chromaroma, an award winning urban social game that uses your Oyster card journeys as a currency for play.
After the session we head on over to OsloMekaniskeVerksted for beers and banter into the wee hours of 17th of may.
