Moonface is not a band. Det er enkelt og greit solo eller samarbeids prosjektetene til Spencer Krug (Wolf Parade). Denne gangen går han sammen med finske Sinaii til en fantasisk aften på Mono.

Moonface og Siinai er i disse dager aktuell med nytt album. Siinai spilte i Norge denne helgen i forbindelse med by:Larm, og var i tillegg nominert til Nordic Music Prize. Spencer Krug har lenge vært fan av finnene, og dette er første gangen de to samarbeider. Det var da Wolf Parade var på turné med Joenssu 1685, som deler medlemmer med Siinai, at de oppdaget at de hadde mye til felles og kunne tenke seg å samarbeide. Albumet «Heartbreaking Bravery» slippes via Jagjaguwar/Tuba i april, og allerede kan man forsyne seg av første smakebit fra albumet helt gratis.

Radio 9:
it’s not rock ‘n’ roll. it’s not dance. Radio 9 are one of those rare bands that manage to combine electronics, guitars and a colourful sense of the future. Radio 9 insist on making their own music, rather than following a well-trodden path. If you need pointers: the band is inspired in spirit by Can and NEU! as much as LCD Soundsystem and Holy Fuck. it is more Krautpop than Krautrock although the band do improvise onstage, often taking their songs into wildly unexpected areas.
formed in London, Radio 9 worked with producers Gareth Jones (Depeche Mode) and Paul Epworth (Bloc Party, Adele, Florence and the Machine) before relocating to Oslo.

Radio 9 is Leon Muraglia (ex-Salvatore), Gav Baker (ex Billie Mahonie, Jet Johnson), Christian Næss (Far From Tellus, Autonomia) and sometimes Anthony Barratt (Je Suis Animal, ex-Salvatore)
