Robert Moses and the Harmony Crusaders at Buckleys Pub with Tove Bøygard + Einar Stenseng in support

This concert is Robert Moses and the Harmony Crusaders’ first one in Oslo this spring/summer after finishing recording their debut CD at Freddy Holm’s studio. The band has been looking forward to playing these songs live for a long time and bringing them to Oslo after recording in Halden.

Our special guest joining us on stage for a song or two will be Tove Bøygard, a very warm and talented veteran of Norwegian rock, folk and country music.

Robert Moses and the Harmony Crusaders perform original music in the style of early rock and roll and country blues (Neil Young, Townes Van Zandt, John Lennon, Led Zeppelin, Hank Williams and Buddy Holly). Robert, who grew up on the city of Chicago’s west side, focuses on writing well crafted, genuine songs, combining simplicity with emotional impact. Through many years of playing in bands in the US, he has come to distill his music and approach into something essential, rhythmic and direct.

Plans are being made to release the band’s debut CD in the autumn of 2012 with a tour to follow.

Robert Moses: vocal, guitar, songs
Freddy Holm: Dobro/lap steel/mandolin/banjo/fiddle/guitar
